If the external USB storage device supports only USB VER 1. 1 and the access speed is slow, the recording may not work well or noise can be recorded. The PTY information is composed of an identification symbol, which helps the FM radio to recognize the program type of each FM station. The below 30 PTY information is shown on the display by pressing the Pty button. The PTY Search is only applicable to preset stations. To stop searching any time during the process, press PTY SEARCH while searching. There is a time limit in doing the followings steps. If the setting is cancelled before you finish, start from step 1 again.
