Removing the Battery Your computer comes with the battery pack inserted in the computer. To remove the battery from the computer: 1. Close the LCD panel, and turn the computer over so that the bottom of the unit faces up. Slide the battery compartment latch toward the left side of the computer and hold, this raises the battery slightly. With the computer's power off, close the LCD panel and turn the computer over so the bottom of the unit faces up. Insert the battery into the battery compartment, ensuring the correct orientation so that the battery fits in its slot properly. 2.
