NOTE 15 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS REMOVING THE REFRIGERATOR DOORS Removing the Front Leg Cover FRONT LEG COVER RIB HOOK Unscrew three phillips screws from the front leg cover. Pull the front leg-cover down with both hands and remove it by lifting it up with the upper rib. Then, disengage the lower hooks. Separating the Water Supply Line from the Refrigerator Remove the water tube by pressing the coupler () and pulling the water tube () away. NOTE Be careful not to cut the water tube when separating it from the coupler. 16 REMOVING THE REFRIGERATOR DOORS NOTE · Lift the door straight up. · Be careful not to pinch the water tubing and wire harness on the door. · Place doors on a protected surface. Removing the Freezer Door CAUTION Unplug the refrigerator before removing the doors. 1) With the door closed, remove the upper hinge cover () along the arrow () using a screwdriver, and then disconnect the wires (). 3) Remove the water tube by pressing the coupler () and pulling the water tube()away. Remove the door from the lower hinge ( 10) by carefully lifting the door ( 11) in the direction of the arrow. 11 10 Be careful not to pinch the water tubing and the wire harness at the bottom of the door. NOTE 17 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 2) Remove hinge screws () and ground screw () counter-clockwise, and take off the upper hinge () in the direction of the arrow (). Take care when removing the door to ensure that it does not fall on you. REMOVING THE REFRIGERATOR DOORS Removing the Refrigerator Door Unplug the refrigerator before removing the doors. CAUTION 1) With the door closed, remove the upper hinge cover () along the arrow () using a screwdriver. 2) Remove hinge screws () and ground screw () counter-clockwise, and take off the upper hinge () along the arrow (). Take care when removing the door to ensure that it does not fall on you. 3) Remove the door from the lower hinge () by lifting the door up(). 4) Remove the lower hinge () from the bracket () by lifting the lower hinge () in the direction of the arrow. 18 REATTACHING THE REFRIGERATOR DOORS Reattaching the Freezer Door 1) Reattach the freezer door by inserting the hose () in the lower side of the door into the hole in the lower hinge () and pull the hose down. 2) Insert the upper hinge shaft () into the hole at the top of the door (). After leveling between the upper hinge hole and the hole of the cabinet. Reattach hinge screws () and ground screw () in a clockwise direction. 3) Connect the wires. 4) Put the front part of the upper hinge cover () on the front part of the upper hinge () and reattach with a screwdriver. 7 8 19 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS REATTACHING THE REFRIGERATOR DOORS Reattaching the Refrigerator Door 1) Insert the lower hinge () in the bracket lower hinge (). 2) Align the hole in the refrigerator door () over the lower hinge and push down (). 3) Insert the upper hinge shaft () into the hole at the top of the door (). After leveling between the upper hinge hole and the cabinet hole. Reattach hinge screws () and gound screw () in the clockwise direction. 4) Put the front part of the upper hinge cover () on the front part of the upper hinge () and reattach it with a screwdriver. 9 20 REATTACHING THE REFRIGERATOR DOORS Reattaching the Water Supply Line While pressing the front face of coupler (), insert the water line () in the coupler. Carefully place front cover and push to snap it into position. NOTE Tube must be fully inserted to the marked line to avoid leaks. Reattaching the Front Leg Cover FRONT LEG COVER RIB HOOK Hold the front leg-cover with both hands and insert it by sliding the hooks along the guide at the bottom. Then, lift up the leg-front-cover a little bit and snap the upper ribs into the locking tabs. Tighten three phillips screws to the front leg cover. 21 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS LEVELING THE REFRIGERATOR Please level the refrigerator first. The doors will be uneven if the refrigerator is not level. Case 1) Freezer door is lower than the refrigerator door. HEIGHT DIFFERENCE Insert a flat-blade screwdriver (-) () into a slot of the control lever (), turn it clockwise and level the refrigerator. SCREW DRIVER(-) CONTROL LEVER Case 2) Freezer door is higher than the refrigerator door HEIGHT DIFFERENCE Insert a flat-blade screwdriver (-) () into a slot of the control lever (), turn it clockwise and level the refrigerator. SCREW DRIVER(-) CONTROL LEVER NOTE Do not make small adjustments with the control lever, please refer to the next page.
