Tap to display the Text Entry screen. Setting E-mail Options On the Configuration screen, tap the Email tab. 6-11 Messaging On the E-mail setting screen, check the options you want. You can configure the following options: · Receive only new messages: receive only new messages from POP3 and IMAP4 servers. · Remove received messages from server(pop3): This is only for a POP3 server. A server removes messages after transferring them to your device. · Limit message size: You can set the size limit of your e-mail messages. Your device does not accept a message from the mail server, if it exceeds the limit you have set. Tap the upper part to increase the number and the lower part to decrease the number. Tap and hold to quickly change the number. · Language: You can select the language you use. Tap the arrow field next to the Language field and select the language you want from the drop-down list. · Word Wrap: If you check this option, your PDA phone automatically scrolls the line when you enter or read text. Setting SMS Options On the Configuration screen, tap the SMS tab. 6-12 Messaging The following options are available: Reminder: allows you to specify how often the PDA phone informs you of a new message. Tap the arrow field next to the Reminder field and select Once. If you don't want to set a reminder, select Off. Ringer type: allows you to specify how you are informed of any incoming messages. Tap the arrow field next to the Ringer type field and select either Ring or Vibrate. If you select Ring from the drop-down list, select the melody by tapping the ¦¤or ¤button. You can play the selected melody by tapping the Play button. Priority: allows you to set a priority of the message. Tap the Priority field and select the importance rate from Normal, Interactive, Urgent and Emergency. Note: When you send or receive an Urgent or Emergency message, the message will be shown with a read exclamation mark. When you get these type of message, the indicator will blink. Delivery Ack: when this option is set to On, the network informs you whether or not your message has been delivered. To deactivate this option, select Off from the drop-down list. 6-13 Messaging U-Info If your PDA phone service provider offers over-the-air digital data coverage in your area, you can use the U-Info application for wireless access to Internet WAP sites.
