On the bottom of this equipment is a label that contains, among other information, the FCC registration Number and Ringer Equivalence Number (REN) for this equipment. You may need to provide this information to your telephone company. Type of Service This equipment is designed to be used on standard device telephone lines. If your machine is SF5600, it is capable of acting as a relay "hub" as well as sending your document through a relay "hub", such as another SF5600. B e f o re sending through a relay unit, the Group number that contains the end "destinations" (i. e. the fax machines that will receive the relayed documents) and your fax number must be stored into the remote relay station's Autodialer location number. To request relay transmission, perform the following procedure: 1 Load a document face down into the document feeder. You can tell whether the document scanner is dirty or not by making a copy and then comparing the copy with the original.
