Messages
Default Validity: allows you to set the length of time for which your text messages will be stored at the message centre while attempts are made to deliver them. Setting Name: allows you to give a name to the setting group currently being defined. Common Setting: the following options are available: Reply Path: allows the recipient of your SMS message to send you a reply message via your message centre, if the service is provided by the network. Delivery Reports: allows you to activate or deactivate the report function. When this function is activated, the network informs you whether your message has been delivered or not. Bearer Selection: allows you to switch between GSM and GPRS.

Delete All
(Menu 1. 6)
This menu option allows you to delete all of the messages in each message box. You can also delete all of your messages at one time. Select a message box to clear Place a check mark Remove the check mark Delete the marked messages Press the. . . To delete all of your messages, select All Messages. Delete soft key.
When a confirmation message is displayed, press the Yes soft key to confirm.
My Objects
(Menu 1. 7)
After saving any objects received in messages into your phone memory, using the Select Objects option, you can see the objects in this menu. Three categories of objects are available: · My Melody · My Picture · My Animation To delete a selected object, press the Delete soft key.

You can delete all objects using the Delete All option (Menu 1. 7. 4). Select a category of objects to be deleted Cancel the selection Delete the objects in the selected category(ies) Then press the. . . Delete soft key.
If you want to delete all objects, select All Objects.
Memory Status
(Menu 1. 8)
This menu shows how many messages are currently stored in the SIM, phone and cell broadcast (CB) memories.
Voice Mail
(Menu 1. 9)
This menu provides you with a way of accessing your voice mailbox (if provided by your network). The following options are available: Connect to Voice Server: before using this feature, you must enter the voice server number obtained from your service provider (see menu 1. 9. 2). You can then select this option and simply press the OK soft key to listen to your messages. To quickly connect to the voice server, press and hold down the key in idle mode.

Broadcast

This network service allows you to receive text messages on various topics, such as the weather or traffic. Messages are displayed immediately they are received, provided that: · The phone is in idle mode · The Receive option is set to Enable · The message channel is currently active in the channel list The following options are available: Read: lets you view the message. Volatile displays the messages from the network, but loses its contents as soon as the phone is switched off. [. . . ] SDN (Service Dialling Numbers) Telephone numbers supplied by your network provider and giving access to special services, such as voice mail, directory inquiries, customer support, and emergency services. SIM (Subscriber Identification Module) Card containing a chip with all the information required to operate the phone (network and memory information, as well as the subscriber's personal data). The SIM card fits into a small slot on the back of the phone and is protected by the battery.
