Changing Your Settings 98 WPS Button Connection The WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button is a standard for easy and secure wireless network set up and connections. To use WPS, the connecting device must support WPS and be compatible with Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) security. WPS can automatically set up a random network name and WPA wireless security for wireless Wi-Fi phones, routers, access points, computers, adapters, and other electronic devices. WPS allows you to push buttons instead of entering a network name and wireless security PIN. 1. Activating Bluetooth From the Home screen, touch it on. Note: Bluetooth must be enabled prior to use. Press OK to confirm your setting. Discoverable From the Home screen, touch Settings Wireless and network Bluetooth settings and touch Visible. The phone is now activated for discovery for 119 seconds so you can pair with another device. After 119 seconds the 99 phone becomes undiscoverable again. Scan Devices This option allows you to scan for active Bluetooth devices so you can pair with them. 1. Adding a VPN Before you add a VPN you must determine which VPN protocol to use: PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol), L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol), L2TP/IPSec PSK (Pre-shared key based L2TP/IPSec), or L2TP/IPSec CRT (Certificate based L2TP/IPSec). 1. Your phone begins scanning and lists any discovered devices in the Bluetooth devices section. 2. 2. From the Home screen, touch and network VPN settings. Touch Add VPN.
