Press <Yes> to confirm the deletion. 49 Menu functions Character support: select a character encoding type. When you select Automatic, the phone switches the encoding type from GSM alphabet to Unicode if you enter a Unicode character. Use of Unicode encoding will reduce the maximum number of characters in a message to about half. If this menu is not shown, your phone provides automatic character encoding by default. Request delivery report: set the network to inform you when your messages have been delivered. Request read report: send a read-reply request along with you messages. Add signature: attach a tag line to messages via File messenger. Receiving options: set up the options for receiving MMS messages: Home network: determine if your phone retrieves new messages automatically when you are in your home service area. Roaming network: determine if your phone retrieves new messages automatically when you are roaming on another network. Reception within your home network or while roaming has the following options: - Auto download: the phone automatically retrieves messages from the server.
