This option allows you to enter a greeting message that will be displayed when your phone is in the Standby mode. You can change the greeting message according to your own preference. To write your greeting message, follow this procedure; Accessing the Options 1. Press the Select soft key to access the option. Press the soft key repeatedly until you choose a desired ring tone. Each time you press the soft key, the handset sounds the ring you have chosen. Press the OK soft key to confirm the setting. 8. During recording, the LCD window displays the recording duration. The time limit for recording is 1 minute. To stop the recording, press or key. Notes: · If an incoming call comes in while recording, the recording is cancelled. · If you record to a location which has a recorded bell, the location is updated with the newly recorded bell. · When recording, you should bring the bell sound to be recorded close to the microphone. · When the memory is full, you cannot record your ring bell. Turning the Feature On/Off Note: Before you turn this feature on, you have to record your bell. My Bell (Base Only) You can differentiate your ring bell from other handsets and bases by recording your own bell. To use the feature, you have to activate the feature on and select a recorded bell.
