Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children. [. . . ] Turn off all controls before unplugging. Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in areas where they may be present. Hold plug when rewinding onto cord reel. Do not allow plug to whip when rewinding. This hose contains electrical connections. The hose should be checked regularly and must not be used of damaged. The plug must be removed from the socket - outlet before cleaning or maintaining the appliance. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent. 1 IDENTIFICATIONS PARTS HANDLE RUG / FLOOR SELECTOR SUCTION HOSE CORD REWIND BUTTON TUBE POWER CONTROL SWITCH ON / OFF BUTTON TOOL STORAGE COVER HANGER DUST-FULL INDICATOR CLAMPER FOR DUST BAG COMPARTMENT FLOOR NOZZLE BUTTON FOR SUCTION HOSE REMOVAL DUST-FULL INDICATOR If the "Dust - Full" indicator switches to "RED" while you are cleaning, the dust bag requires relacement. NOTE If the "Dust - Full" indicator continues to display "RED" even after changing the dust bag turn the cleaner off and check whether the hose, tube or nozzle is clogged. 2 ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM-CLEANER READY FOR USE 1) Connect the suction hose to the suction tube. 2) Connect the suction tubes together. 3) Connect the nozzle to the suction tube. 4) Connect the hose clamper to the body of the clamper along the arrow point. POWER CORD 1) PULLING OUT The power cord is long enough to be drawn out for a convenience. 2) REWINDING Upon finishing cleaning disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet and just press the cord rewind the button lightly with your toe. NOTE When removing the power cord from the electrical outlet, grasp the plug, not the cord. ON / OFF SWITCH With the cord plugged into an electrical outlet, start or stop the vacuum cleaner by stepping lighty on the switch button. 3 POWER CONTROL MIN SLIDING REGULATOR USING THE ACCESSORIES Dusting brush - for furniture, shelves, books, etc. Upholstery brush - for cushions and drapery. Crevice tool - for radiators, crevice, corners, between cushions. Brush head The rotating brush ensures that cleaning is carried out more thoroughly. OPEARATING THE BRUSH HEAD Push the switch(A) down. MIN = For delicate fabrics, like net curtains. MAX = For hard floors and heavily soiled carpets. A TRANSPORTING AND STORING THE VACUUM CLEANER For easy storage and transportation, this vacuum cleaner has a clip system built onto the body, which will keep the tube, hose and nozzle in a vertical position. REPLACING THE DUST BAG 1) To open the dust cover of the dust bag compartment press the clamper upward located at the side of the dust cover. [. . . ] Close the cover. TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM Motor does not start Suction force is gradully decreasing Cord does not rewind fully CAUSE No voltage Filter, nozzle, suction hose or tube blocked. Check that the cord is not twisted or wound unevenly REMEDY Check cable, plug and socket.
