[. . . ] When recording with a SHUTTER SPEED or EXPOSURE, the Flash function does not work. 63 ENGLISH Advanced Recording SLOW SHUTTER (Low Shutter Speed) The SLOW SHUTTER function works in CAMERA mode only. The shutter speed can be controlled, allowing you to record slow moving objects. Each time you press the SLOW SHUTTER button, SHUTTER SPEED is changed to S1/25, S1/13, S1/6, S1/13 , S1/6 , off. Using the slow shutter with the assist light (white LED) The assist light (white LED) enables you to record a subject in dark places without sacrificing colour. The assist light (white LED)can be used with slow shutter function only. The range of the assist light (white LED) is limited (up to 6. 6ft (2m)). When FLASH mode is set to ON (see page 67), the assist light (white LED) can be used as focusing light in M. REC mode. 64 ENGLISH Advanced Recording EASY Q Mode (for Beginners) The EASY Q mode allows a beginner to easily make good quality video recordings. I The EASY Q mode only operates in CAMERA mode. By pressing the EASY Q button, all functions on the camera will be set to off and the recording settings will be set to the following basic modes: I Battery level, recording mode, counter, DATE/TIME, and EIS ( ) will be displayed. I The word "EASY. Q" will appear on the LCD monitor at the same time. However, the DATE/TIME will only be seen if it has been previously set.
