Result: The software upgrade information is displayed. 5 To switch to an alternative version, press the Red button. Press the Blue button to reset, activate the upgrade and restart. 24 Resetting ENG You can reset the values stored to the factory default values. 1 The Reset operation deletes all channel information and user preferences returning all values to their default factory state. Press the D. MENU button. Result: The DTV menu is displayed. 2 Press the L or M button to select System. Result: The options available in the System group are displayed. 3 4 Press the ENTER button. Press the L or M button to select Reset, and press the ENTER button. Result: The warning message is displayed. 5 All values will be reset by pressing the coloured buttons (Red, Green, Yellow and Blue) in turn. 25 Storing Channels Automatically ENG TV Channel Auto store Manual store Add/Erase Sort Name Fine tune Move Enter Return Available in Analog TV mode. You can scan for the frequency ranges available to you (and availability depends on your country). Automatically allocated programme numbers may not correspond to actual or desired programme numbers. However you can sort numbers manually and clear any channels you do not wish to watch. 1 Press the MENU button. Result: The main menu is displayed. 2 TV Country Search Auto store : UK : -/+ Press the L or M button to select Channel. Result: The options available in the Channel group are displayed. 3 Press the ENTER button. Result: The Auto store is selected. 4 Move Adjust Return Press the ENTER button again. Result: The options available in the Auto store group are displayed with Country is selected. TV Country Search Auto store : UK : -/+ 5 Select your country by pressing the oe or button. The countries are displayed in the following order: UK - East Europe - Others - Belgie - Deutschland - España - France - Italia Nederland - Schweiz - Sverige. Press the L or M button to select Search. Press the oe or button to start the search. Result: The horizontal bar is displayed, and then channels are stored in an order which reflects their positions in the frequency range. Finally, the search will end automatically. 6 7 Move Search Return P 1 S01 ----106 MHz 8 To stop the search before it has finished, press the MENU button. When searching and storing are complete, the Sort menu is displayed. N To sort the stored channels into the desired numerical order, go to Step 6 of the "Sorting the Stored Channels" procedure on page 27. Return TV From To Store Sort : P 1 ----: P-- ----:? N To exit from the channel store function without sorting the channels, press the MENU button repeatedly until the menus disappear. 9 When the channels have been stored, you can: N N N N N Sort them in the order required (refer to page 27) Clear a channel (refer to page 30) Assign a name to the stored channels (refer to page 31) Fine tune channel reception if necessary (refer to page 32) Activate the Digital Noise Reduction feature (refer to page 35) Move Adjust Return 26 Sorting the Stored Channels ENG This operation allows you to change the programme numbers of stored channels. This operation may be necessary after using auto store. You can delete the channels you do not want to keep.
