Thank you for choosing Sanus Systems Basic Foundations. Please check carefully to make sure there are no missing or defective parts. [. . . ] The rounded or beveled edge of the Pillars should face the front of the stand as shown in Diagram 2. Proceed to tighten all 4 screws by hand with a phillips screw driver. Note: Do NOT use any power drivers to tighten the Screws!

b Step 3: Add Top Plate to Pillars Allign the Top Plate (e) with the Pillars (f) so that the two countersunk holes that are closer together are toward the front of the stand. Proceed to attach the Top Plate to the Pillars by threading a Screw (b) through each of the countersunk holes and into the Pillar as shown in the Detailed View Diagram 3. Tighten the Screws with a phillips screw driver. Note: Do NOT use any power drivers to tighten the Screws!f Diagram 3 b e Detailed View

Step 4: Add Isolation Pads and Carpet Spikes The Isolation Pads (a) are self adhesive. For the best stability, place them in the extreme corners of each Top Plate (e) as shown in Detailed View A of Diagram 4. Carpet Spikes (c) are provided to stabilize the stand on carpeting and to reduce resonance. Simply insert the end of the Carpet Spike into each small hole in the bottom side of the Base (d). You may need to tap them in with a wooden or rubber mallet. See Detailed View B Diagram 5 for assistance. [. . . ] Diagram 5 Diagram 4
