Mode Keys--Use these keys to program the remote control and to select the operating mode (VCR, TV, Cable or Satellite/Auxiliary). Vi d eo/TV·VCR Key--In the TV and Satellite modes, this key selects the p rogram source to display on the screen (TV signal or signal from equipment connected to the A/V jacks). Be sure to match the / signs on the bat t e ri s with the e / marks inside the case. Note: Do Not mix new and used batteries or mix different types of batteries together.

1. Find your equipment's brand codes
in the ch a rts on pages 5, 6, and 7. Note: Larger code numbers may represent more recent models. Th e re fo re, if you have late model equipment, we recommend that you try the largest number first.

3. Perform Step 2 for each piece of
equipment you have (VCR, TV, Cable Conve rter Box, and/or Satellite Receiver). After entering a code number check the Power and Channel operation. If these functions operate pro p e rly, programming is complete. If not, try reprogramming using another code, if available. After programming is confi rm e d, enter your codes in the spaces provided below and on the back of the remote control.
