World Clock
This feature is available only in digital service areas. To view the time in 38 different locations:
1. Select
> Tools > World Clock.
2. Press the navigation key left or right to scroll through
different time zones.
Tip: Press Summer (left softkey) or Standard (right softkey) to select between daylight savings and standard time (if applicable). The icon is shown in summer mode.

Updating Your Phone
Your SCP-3100 by Sanyo allows you to update its software version over the air. You will be notified if a new software version is available for your phone. You can also check whether an update is available through the Tools menu. To respond to an automatic update request:
Calendar & Tools
1. Press Yes (left softkey) when an update notification
appears.
2. Read the onscreen information and press Next (left
softkey) to continue.
3. Select Update Phone to update your phone.
To manually update your phone through the Tools menu:
1. Select
> Tools > Update Phone.
2. If a new software version is available, press Yes (left
softkey) to continue.
3. Read the onscreen information and press Next (left
softkey) to continue.
4. Select Update Phone to update your phone.

Viewing Memory in Your Calendar
To view available memory space and options:
1. Select > Calendar > Options (right softkey). Select View Memory > Schedule, Call Alarm, or To Do List.
(The available memory space and further options are displayed. )
Displaying Your User Address
To display the phone's current user address: Select > Settings > Phone Info > Phone#/User ID. If you sign out, <PCS Vision Disabled> appears on the display.
Finding Icon Definitions
To view an explanation of icons that appear on the display:
1. Select > Settings > Phone Info > Help. Select the item for which you want to see the explanation
and press . (The icon's explanation appears. )
Displaying the Version Information
To display the version number of the software, hardware, PRL (Preferred Roaming List), PRI (Product Release Instructions), etc. , installed on your phone: Select > Settings > Phone Info > Version.
Displaying Advanced Information
To display advanced information such as frequency and other technical information: Select 120 > Settings > Phone Info > Advanced.
