Any information regarding only one of these products will be labeled as such. Please read these instructions carefully before using the digital camera. [. . . ] oe When manual exposure control is selected, the exposure correction value becomes ±0 and exposure correction cannot be performed. oe If the aperture value is set to F10 or higher, the resolution of the shot picture may be slightly reduced. CAUTION oe While the Exposure Control Setting Screen is displayed (step 3), the zoom function is disabled. 109 English SETTING THE NOISE REDUCTION Noise which occurs in captured images when the shutter button is pressed during still image shooting is reduced. The initial setting for noise reduction is off. 1 Display the Still Image Shooting Setting Screen (see page 39). B 12 NOISE REDUCT OFF 2 Select the noise reduction on icon g from the noise reduction menu, and press the SET button. oe This completes the noise reduction setting. NOTE oe The noise reduction function works when the shutter speed is 1/4 second or more. oe The time it takes to record the shooting data after the shutter release button is pressed is longer when the noise reduction function is used than when it is not used. English 110 ADJUSTING THE COLOR TONES (REAL-COLOR EQUALIZER) You can adjust the color tones (hue, saturation and brightness) of the captured images. In addition to adjusting the tones with the camera's settings, you can also download data settings created on your computer for color tone correction. Adjust the color tones with the digital camera 1 2 Display the Shooting Option Setting Screen (see page 39). Pressing the SET button displays the screen for the hue, saturation and brightness settings. ù: The hue, saturation and brightness settings are completed, and you are returned to the Color Adjustment Screen. í: Set the red hue, saturation and brightness. ü: Set the yellow, and saturation and brightness. ì: Set the green hue, saturation and brightness. û: Set the cyan hue, saturation and brightness. î: Set the blue hue, saturation and brightness. [. . . ] This time will increase when more data is stored on the card. oe It will take a great deal of time to download large amounts of data from the Microdrive to your computer. oe Microdrive cards require more power than CompactFlash cards. Therefore the possible battery pack operation time (see page 197) when using the Microdrive will be much less than that when using a CompactFlash card. [. . . ]
