1. Connect the passenger yellow 2-way connector located near the base of the steering column.

2. [. . . ] Refer to Insulator Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console. Remove the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) from the driver yellow 2-way connector located at the base of the steering column.

4. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the driver yellow 2-way connector.

DOOR CHIME SPEAKER INSTALLATION When installing the GM06 into a vehicle with an integrated door chime, the factory door chime will no longer operate. A low level amplifier plus speaker or low wattage speaker is necessary to regain the door chime.
POWER/SPEAKER WIRES
White = Left Front Positive (LF+). White/Black = Left Front Negative (LF-). Gray/Black = Right Front Negative (RF-). Violet/Black = Right Rear Negative (RR-). Orange/White = Illumination.

5. Refer to Insulator Replacement - IP Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console. Staying well away from both air bags, turn ON the ignition. The AIR BAG warning lamp will flash seven times. The AIR BAG warning lamp will then turn OFF. Perform a Diagnostic System Check - SIR if the AIR BAG warning lamp does not operate as described.

7. [. . . ] NOTE: Accessory Power - The Factory Accessory wire (In the GM06 harness) is data- controlled and generated by the Factory radio. If for any reason this power drops out unexpectedly or performs erratically, then you must tap into an alternate fused Accessory power source located at the ignition switch or fuse blcok for your Aftermarket radio.
