Pedicure unit Batteries This pedicure unit requires 2 type AA / 1. 5 V batteries; the use of alkaline batteries is preferable, as they last longer than standard carbon-zinc batteries. The batteries are inserted as follows: - Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction indicated by the arrow and take it off. - Insert the batteries according to the schematic diagram inside the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). - Replace the compartment cover and slide it back until it is heard locking into place. A significant decrease in operating speed is a clear indication that the batteries are exhausted, and that they should be replaced.
