Re-engage the locking mechanism to speed up heating. - The appliance will be ready for use after about 2 minutes. - Take each strand of hairs as close as possible to the roots and place it between the heating plates. - Bring the two arms together on the hair and start shaping the hair, beginning at the roots and working your way out to the ends. - If you wish the shaping to be more pronounced, repeat the process and allow the heat to take effect for a slightly longer period. - Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the wall socket after use.
