Protect the appliance from moisture and splashing water and do not operate it with wet hands. In the vicinity of any water source, there is a risk even when the appliance is switched off. Always switch off and remove the plug from the wall socket after use, and also - in case of any malfunction, - during cleaning. When removing the plug from the wall socket, never pull on the power cord; always grip the plug itself. Do not store the appliance until it has cooled down completely. No responsibility will be accepted if damage results from improper use, or if these instructions are not complied with. This appliance is intended for domestic use only and not for commercial applications. In order to comply with safety regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualified personnel, including the replacement of the power cord. If repairs are needed, please send the appliance to one of our customer service departments. The address can be found in the appendix to this manual. - Join the two plastic tubes by screwing them together and fit this long unit to the base. - Place the screw collar loosely onto the upper plastic tube. - Insert the metal tube into the upper plastic tube until the desired overall height has been reached. The metal tube must project into the plastic tube by at least 10 - 15 cm. Tighten the collar to hold the tubes together by turning it clockwise. - Check carefully that all connections are secure. - Slide the drying hood with its bracket onto the metal tube. - The transparent visor can be flipped up at the front.
