Models with dual-voltage selector: Models equipped with a dual voltage switch can be set to different supply voltages by using a coin or a similar object. Do not use the appliance on synthetic hairpieces or wigs, as the heat emitted might cause damage to the synthetic fibres. Make sure the air intake and outlet openings are not blocked (e. By fingers or hair), and that no fluff or fibre particles are allowed to accumulate in the air intake. A blockage in the air-flow system may cause the integral thermal safety cut-out to switch off the appliance. Should this occur, immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains power and allow sufficient time for it to cool down before the blockage is removed and the appliance is switched on again.
