[. . . ] Do not under any circumstances operate the cool-box with both cables connected. Do not operate the cool-box with any cables other than the ones provided by the manufacturer. Before the appliance is used, the main body as well as any fitted attachment should be checked thoroughly for any defects. If the appliance, for instance, has been dropped onto a hard surface, it must no longer be used: even invisible damage may have adverse effects on the operational safety of the appliance. Keeping warm Using the keep-warm function, food and beverages may be kept warm. Again, warming up cold food and beverages will take some considerable time. 12V connection: When the 12V cigarette lighter socket is used to power the cool-box, it should not be left connected for more than 2 hours with the vehicle engine switched off. In order to comply with safety regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualified personnel. General information This cool-box uses thermo-electric technology and is therefore able to provide cooling as well as heating. The appliance cools down to as much as approx. Voltage selector switch The voltage selector switch setting must correspond to the power source currently being used. Always ensure that the switch is in the correct position before the cool-box is connected to any power source. AC power ­ for 230V mains operation, the voltage selector must be set to AC voltage. DC power ­ for operation from a 12V power source, the voltage selector must be set to DC voltage. Indicator lights The `cooling' function is indicated by the green light. the red indicator light shows that the `keepwarm' function is enabled. Lid The lid can be locked by folding the carrying handle over towards the hinged side of the lid. With the engine running, the cool-box may be left connected for an unlimited time. General care and cleaning Before cleaning, remove the plug from the wall socket and wait until the appliance has completely cooled down. Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace any parts found to be Defective, providing the product is returned to one of our authorised service centres. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been used in accordance with the instructions, and provided that it has not been modified, repaired or interfered with by any unauthorised person, or damaged through misuse.
