Connection to the mains supply The hair dryer should only be connected to an earthed socket installed in accordance with the regulations. Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label of the hair dryer. [. . . ] Make sure that no dust or hairs stick in the air slots. If overheated, the incorporated safety cut-out will automatically switch off the hair dryer. The appliance will turn on again after having sufficiently cooled. Always switch off and remove the plug from the wall socket after use, as well as - in cases of malfunction, and - during cleaning. Do not remove the plug from the mains supply socket by pulling on the mains lead. Do not wind the mains lead around the hair dryer. Do not operate the hair dryer with a damaged mains lead or after the appliance has been dropped or damaged in any manner or while it is stored by means of the hang-up hook. Should the hair dryer fail to operate or in case of any damage, please contact an authorized service centre for all repairs. Ask your retailer for the address of an authorized service centre. Position 0 = off Position 1 = warm air (for styling) Position 2 = hot air (for drying) Dual voltage control - The voltage (120 V or 240 V) can be chosen by turning the rotary switch by means of a coin. Concentrator - The hair dryer is supplied with a concentrator which can easily be fitted to the unit. The concentrator allows an easy drying and styling of single hair strands. hang-up hook - The hang-up hook allows an easy storage of the appliance. Care and Cleaning Before cleaning any domestic electrical appliance, always make sure that the plug has been removed from the mains supply socket.
