Practical hints – In order to maintain the crispness of the waffles, place them next to each other on a rack to cool. (Placed on top of each other, the waffles will lose their crispness). € If milk is used instead of water, the waffles will be softer and darker. € In order to achieve even browning, all ingredients should be of the same temperature. General care and cleaning  Before cleaning, remove the plug from the wall socket and wait until the appliance has cooled down with the cooking plates open. ρ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the appliance with water and do not immerse it in water.  Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions. € Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft, slightly damp cloth only. € The non-stick plates can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth or a soft brush.
