The IONIC function The IONIC function facilitates gentle, easy hair styling by preventing a static charge in the hair. It uses the build-up of a negative ‘ion-cloud’ 10 to prevent ‘flyaway’ hair caused by a positive charge. The IONIC function is automatically enabled during use, irrespective of the switch settings. Operation Switch positions The appliance is equipped with a 3-position switch allowing for the following settings: Functions: 0 = Off 1 = Half power 2 = Full power For a cooler air-flow, press the cool-air button ‘cool’ and slide it forward. Removing and changing the attachments Always switch the appliance off and allow it to cool down to room temperature before changing or removing any attachments. € To remove an attachment, press and hold the release button on the housing, turn the attachment to the right and pull it off from the front. € When fitting any attachment, apply only light pressure, making sure the triangular mark on the attachment is aligned with the identical mark on the housing. Then turn the attachment to the left until it locks into place. Use Round brush – The round brush is designed for shaping the hair. To achieve this, the hair should be divided into single strands (not too thick) and then spread evenly over the brush, turning them inwards or outwards as desired. Disposal Do not dispose of old or defective appliances in domestic garbage; this should only be done through public collection points.
