[International transmission mode setting] To set the international transmission mode, complete steps 1 through 13 on pages 62 to 64 and then follow the steps below. Note Set the transmission speed only when you know what speed is most suitable, such as when you are sending a fax to a foreign country and telephone line conditions are bad. If you do not know the line conditions, do not change this setting. Note 1 Select "TX SPEED" with the [ ] or [ ] key. · When sending a fax to a foreign country, telephone line conditions can sometimes distort the fax or interrupt the transmission. If you frequently send faxes to the same group of destinations using broadcast transmission, which is used to send the same document to multiple destinations in a single operation (page 32), it is convenient to program those destinations into a group key.
