MOUNTING ONTO A FLAT VERTICAL SURFACE
1 . Using the changer with brackets attached as a template, mark two holes for each bracket attachment. Drill a 4mm (5/32") diameter hole at each of the four locations. eoe rlig Secure changer using four self-tapping screws "D", four flatwashers "H" and four lockwashers "G". Proceed to page 7!

Note: If desired you can substitute the use of bolts and nuts for mounting either of the above methods by increasing the hole diameter to 1/4" diameter (6. 5mm) and use four pieces bolt "B" and four pieces hex nut "F".

rear of the car to the dashboard, it is best to conceal the wires under carpeting. If you do not know how to do this, your local auto mechanic or car stereo installer should be consulted.

WIRING THE CD CHANGER
There is one cable to connect the changer to the FM module as explained below.

DATA CABLE
The 15 foot data cable connects the changer to the FM module. First connect the end of the data cable labelled "TO CD CHANGER" to the socket on the left side of the changer. Never insert a damaged, warped, or dirty disc into the magaz n . ie 4 To remove a disc, depress the tab for the disc . slot you want to remove and gently slide the disc out of the magazine as shown. Note: Additional CD magazines are available (see page 1 of this manual).

LOADING THE MAGAZINE INTO THE CHANGER
1 Make certain all discs are fully inserted into the . 2 Slide the door on the changer fully to the right. 3 Position magazine as shown (top side facing . 4 Insert magazine into changer until it "clicks" in . 5 Slide the door of the changer fully closed. Note: The door of the changer must always be closed except when inserting or removing the magazine to prevent dust or dirt entry which could cause malfunctions. 6 To remove the magazine, slide the door fully to . [. . . ] It is equipped with a built in thermal protection circuit which will stop operation of the unit when the temperature reaches the pre-set level. If this should happen, the unit will resume operation when the vehicle returns to a normal temperature range. Remove the magazine from the unit when it is not being used during hot weather.
