Info · Do not connect the RS-232C cable to a port other than the RS-232C terminal on the computer. This may damage your computer or projector. · Do not connect or disconnect an RS-232C serial control cable to or from the computer while it is on. This may damage your computer. 24 When connecting to the LAN terminal using a LAN cable LINK LED (green) Illuminates when linked. Info · When "Auto Restart" is set to "On": If the power cord is unplugged from the outlet or the breaker switch is turned off when the projector is on, then the projector automatically turns on when the power cord is plugged into the AC outlet or the breaker switch is turned on. (See page 50. ) · English is the factory default language. The function for correcting trapezoidal distortion is called Keystone Correction. Note · The Keystone Correction can be adjusted up to an angle of approximately ±40 degrees and the screen can also be set up to an angle of approximately ±40 degrees. Adjustment buttons (P/R/O/Q) RETURN button KEYSTONE button 1 Press KEYSTONE to enter the Keystone Correction mode. Note · Pressing VOL­/­O will lower the volume. · Pressing VOL+/Q+ will raise the volume. · When the projector is connected to external equipment, the volume level of the external equipment changes in accordance with the volume level of the projector. Set the projector's volume to the lowest level when turning the projector on/off or when changing the input signal. · When you do not want to output the sound from the projector's speaker while the projector is connected to external equipment, set "Speaker" in the "PRJ-ADJ1" menu to "Off". (See page 50. ) On-screen display Displaying the Black Screen and Turning Off the Sound Temporarily Press AV MUTE on the remote control or close the lens shutter to temporarily display a black screen and turn off the sound. On-screen display Note · Pressing AV MUTE again will turn the projected image back on. · When you close the lens shutter, the projector will be set to AV Mute mode and then the projector will be turned off automatically after about 30 minutes. 30 Resize Mode This function allows you to modify or customize the Resize mode to enhance the input image. Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly or insert new ones. · Cables are incorrectly connected to the projector or the connected equipment works improperly. · If this happens frequently, replace the lamp.
