At this reduced setting, the food will cook evenly without over cooking at the sides. [. . . ] For cleaning, wipe away any splatters or spills with a soft damp cloth or sponge after each use while the oven is still warm. For heavier spills, use a mild soap and wipe several times with a damp cloth until all residues are removed. Built-up splashes may overheat and begin to smoke or catch fire, and cause arcing.
