It is in `pricing' that the weekly price sent from your preferred supplier appears along with any price changes that you have made using the price box common function. If you have added a new product to the system the price information about that product will also appear here. All these are called pending price changes. The pricing component lets you take total control over the pending price changes and change them if required, giving you the freedom to decide when you want the price changes to take effect in your store. The price changes can take effect from anything between immediately and a date up to nine weeks in the future. For the price changes to take effect at the till a shelf edge label must be printed and displayed in the store. You can print the shelf edge labels for tomorrows' prices at a click of a button. You can re-print shelf edge labels for products to replace existing shelf edge labels that are damaged. As with the majority of components within the Back Office, you can run reports.
