PREFACE
This document details the installation of MICROSOFT Windows 2000 Professional Operating System. The Operating System is supplied pre-installed on a Hard Disk Unit (L80X500DW2K) The disk and its contents should be installed in accordance with this manual and used in line with MICROSOFT licensing.

Windows 2000 Professional Setup
1. [. . . ] Within the 'Your Product Key' screen enter the product key found on the sticky label supplied and press Next.
!!!MICROSOFT REQUIREMENT
Peel off and attach the supplied 'Certificate of Authenticity product key' label and stick it to the UP-X500 hardware. (Preferably underneath the cabinet next to the serial number plate)

Enter the Computer name. Ensure that the date and time are correct.

9. Within Networking settings select Typical settings and the Next.
10. Ensure that the above is set to WORKGROUP then select Next. The 'Windows Setup' screen appears and the UP-X500 will now restart.

12. After reboot, a "Network Identification Wizard" window will appear. Click Next to continue with the Wizard.
