· While the handset of the fax is lifted (off hook), an extension phone
connected directly to the fax cannot be used to speak with the other party.
· The fax may interrupt a voice call received on an extension phone if the
reception mode is set to A. M. and there is a period of silence during the conversation. If you are on a tone dial phone, you can prevent this by pressing any three keys on the phone immediately after you answer. (Note: Do not enter the code to activate fax reception: 5,
