The camcorder normally records audio in the 12-bit audio recording mode. For higher-quality audio recording, select the 16-bit audio recording mode. The digital image stabilization (DIS) function allows you to stabilize the image by electronically compensating for relatively minor image shaking that is often annoying in close-up shots. 1 2 3 Useful Features In TAPE-CAMERA mode, press the MENU button until the menu screen appears. Turn the CONTROL dial to select U, then press the dial. Turn the CONTROL dial to select "AUDIO MODE", then press the dial. The playback zoom function allows you to magnify the playback picture up to 10 times its original size and shift the magnified picture by using the remote control.
