[. . . ] Coin case Paper Roll When colored dye appears on the edges of the paper roll, it is time to replace the roll. Use paper of 2 1/4" (57 mm) in width. Replacement (Journal printing) 1. Turn the mode switch to the REG position. Press f to advance the paper several lines. Remove the take-up spool from the bearing. Replacement 1. Manually Opening the Drawer In case of a power failure or if the machine is out of order, locate the lever at the bottom of the machine and move it in the direction of the arrow to open the drawer. The drawer will not open if it is locked with the drawer lock key. Open the battery cover and remove the old batteries. After cutting the existing paper, remove the paper roll.
