Optional RS-232C cable 7 Installing the Software This software can be installed using the installation programme supplied on the "Sharp Advanced Presentation Software CD-ROM". Using infrared communications (IrCOM) Infrared communication is available for transferring images. The PC requires a built-in infrared communications port or an external infrared communications adapter. q For Windows 95 users: Microsoft IrDA 2. 0 (Infrared Driver) has to be installed on your PC to use this software. If it is not installed, you can obtain it from the Microsoft's site on the Internet. q For Windows 98 users: Microsoft Windows 98 supports IrDA communications as a default programme. The "Startup Image Transfer" mode saves one image file only and overwrites the previously transferred image if you send another image file. To avoid erasing the custom image, you should change the transfer mode to "Image Transfer" after sending the custom image. 21 Transferring Images Presentation Transfer This mode makes it possible to transfer images saved as BMP or JPEG files to the projector.
