Changing the drying programme The drying programme changes by pressing the Y dry button once more after reaching the maximum of 2 hours or by pressing the Y dry button for about 4 seconds. To prevent overdrying of laundry which would cause it to shrink or crinkle, avoid selecting excessively long drying times. In addition, overdrying would consume energy unnecessarily. i Warm laundry appears more damp to the touch than cold laundry. This can easily lead to misjud gements. The following spin speeds are available: 000 rpm: Spin disabled and stop with tub full. The washer dryer does not perform the final spin and ends the washing programme with water in the tub. For cotton and coloured programmes, speed decreases by 100 rpm starting from max. 1600 down to 600 rpm For synthetics, delicates and woollens programmes, speed decreases by 100 rpm starting from 900 down to 600 rpm. Selecting a new programme i After finishing a programme (END is on the display) first the washer dryer has to switch off, before you can select a new programme. 33 Dry only Programmes i The water tap must remain open also during the drying cycle because cooling water is required. i The quantity of laundry for drying must not exceed 2. 5 kg. i For handwashed laundry choose a separate spin cycle first. Setting an dry only programme The washer dryer is switched off. First the display shows a rotated digit and then it alter nates between showing the remaining time and the active spin speed. q Press the Y dry button till the required time is set, page 30. q Select the required spin speed for the integrated spin cycle, page 31. i The spin option is only possible for the Y dry pro gramme and for drying times ranging from 1 h 30 min to 2 h 0 min, page 24.
