This is normal and stops after a short time. · Remove the plug from the wall power socket. Cleaning and Care Attention! Before cleaning, ALWAYS remove the plug from the wall power socket!There is a risk of receiving an electric shock!Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning it. Do not use abrasive, aggressive or chemical cleaning agents. These could damage the upper surfaces of the appliance. Utilisation · Place the appliance on a dry, flat and heat-resistant surface. · First insert the plug of the power cable 2 into the connection socket 3 and then connect the power cable 2 with a wall power socket. The control lamp "Mains power connected" 6 glows. -2- NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids. · Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth. · The hotplate 1 can, if required, be cleaned with a special stainless steel cleaning agent. · Wipe off any possibly remaining cleaning agent residues with a damp cloth.
