If the device does not operate, disconnect the connector from the device, reset the voltage switch to the next higher setting and re-connect. Do not continue trying higher settings as they may result in damage to your device or the adapter. Also check the 3A fuse located in the car/airplane adapter. Disconnect the DC adapter from the power outlet and the device you are powering. Plug the adapter into the DC outlet again. If the device remains off, there may be a problem with the DC adapter.
