[. . . ] DETAILS Sirius-S50 PERSONAL SATELLITE RADIO + CAR KIT Congratulations on the purchase of your new Sirius S50 The Sirius S50® allows you to capture and store up to 50 hours of SIRIUS Satellite Radio content, or a mix of SIRIUS® programming and MP3/WMA files, for portable entertainment. When attached to a home dock, vehicle dock, or executive docking station, the Sirius S50 provides easy access to live broadcasts and saved content, and captures and stores both scheduled and unscheduled SIRIUS programming. This feature allows you to listen to the unique programming provided by SIRIUS which you have saved, in locations where you would ordinarily be unable to receive adequate satellite reception. When the Sirius S50 is docked and powered on, it gathers content in a variety of ways for listening on the go including My SIRIUS Channels, My Sirius Songs, scheduled recordings, and My Playlists. (Figure 6) Pausing a Live Broadcast If you are unable to continue listening to a live broadcast but do not want to miss the broadcast, you can pause the channel for 30 to 60 minutes depending upon the content. The indicator within the time bar indicates your current listening position in the replay buffer. When the currently paused time is at the limit of the replay buffer capacity, play of the broadcast will automatically resume. The live broadcast will continue to be added to the replay buffer, overwriting the oldest portion of the broadcast in the replay buffer. [ Operation ] [ Operation ] Playing a Paused broadcast fast-forwarding and rewinding Through a Paused broadcast Press Play/Pause to begin playing a paused broadcast from the point at which it was paused. Pressing Fast-Forward and Rewind navigates through the replay buffer, either by time or by segments. As you fast-forward or rewind, the indicator in the time bar will move to show your current playback position relative to the live broadcast. Pressing and holding Fast-Forward and Rewind for one second moves forward or backwards in 10 second intervals, which increases to 30 and then 60 second intervals the longer the button remains pressed.
