[. . . ] The grill element heats up the oven with a temperature indicatively ranging from a minimum of 50°C and a maximum of 245°C. The cooking time of the auxiliary oven electric grill must not exceed 30 minutes. 7. 7 Using the grill (multifunction ovens) When the oven has come on (the red indicator light comes on to confirm this), leave it to heat up for 5 minutes before placing foods inside. Foods should be seasoned before cooking. Foods should also be coated with oil or melted butter FOODS RUNNER HEIGHT before cooking. Flat, thin piece of meat 3 The foods for cooking must be placed on the oven 2-3 shelf, which is then placed on one of the runners fitted Roller roasts in the various types of ovens, following the guidelines Poultry 2-3 on the right. · · · · · · Grilling processes in the static and multifunction ovens should never last more than 60 minutes. In models with electric oven, the oven door must be closed during grill and grill + rotisserie cooking operations. Accessible parts may be very hot during and after use of the grill; keep children well away from the appliance. During rotisserie cooking operations, one of the trays supplied with the cooker should be placed on the bottom of the oven, on the first runner from the bottom, to collect any grease and fat produced. During cooking, do not cover the bottom of the oven with aluminium foil, and do not place pans or trays on it; this may damage the enamel coating. If you wish to use greaseproof paper, position it so that it does not interfere with the hot air circulation inside the oven. LARGE GRILL: The heat coming from the grill element gives perfect grilling results above all for thin and medium thickness meat and in combination with the rotisserie (where present) gives the food an even browning at the end of cooking. This function enables large quantities of food, particularly meat, to be grilled evenly. FAN-ASSISTED GRILL: The air produced by the fan softens the strong heatwave generated by the grill, giving perfect grilling results even with very thick foods. FAN-ASSISTED BOTTOM: The combination of the fan with just the lower heating element allows cooking to be completed more rapidly. This system is recommended for sterilising or for finishing off the cooking of foods which are already well-cooked on the surface, but not inside, which therefore need a little more heat. In pyrolytic models, the special defrosting and proving functions are brought together under the same function (see "8. 3 Defrosting function" for further details). ECO CIRCULAR: The combination of the fan and the circular element (incorporated in the rear of the oven) enables different foods to be cooked on several levels, as long as they need the same temperature and same type of cooking operation. Hot air circulation ensures instant and uniform distribution of heat. It will be possible, for instance, to cook fish, vegetables and biscuits simultaneously (on different levels) without mixing odours and flavours. (For multiple-level cooking, we recommend using the 2nd and 4th runners. ) FAN-ASSISTED STATIC: The operation of the fan, combined with traditional cooking, ensures uniform cooking even with complex recipes. Perfect for biscuits and cakes, even when simultaneously cooked on several levels. (For multiple-level cooking, you are advised to use the 2nd and 4th runners. ) DEFROSTING: Rapid defrosting is helped by switching on the fan and the top heating element to ensure uniform distribution of low temperature air inside the oven. 20 Instructions for the user 8. 1 Cooking advice and instructions 8. 1. 1 General advice · We recommend preheating the oven before putting the food in. [. . . ] The inside diameter of the hose must be 8 mm for LIQUID GAS and 13 mm for NATURAL GAS and TOWN GAS.
