8. 2 HALF-LOAD WASH (depending on model)
EN
Shown on DISPLAY (G): "Half Load Off/Top/Bottom". Press button (D) to display the "Half load" option, then use button (E) to select "Top" if you wish to wash in the top basket only, or "Bottom" to wash in the bottom basket only. Return to "Off" for normal washing with full load in both baskets. One half of the cutlery basket can be placed in the basket selected for the ½ LOAD programme. WARNING: dishes and cutlery placed in the basket not selected will not be washed.
8. 3 USE OF 3/1 PRODUCTS OPTION (depending on model) Shown on DISPLAY (G): "Detergent Norm/3/1". Press (D) to display the option and press (E) to enable the (3/1) option or return to the use of normal detergent (Norm). This option has been developed for use with powder or tablet detergents containing substances that substitute for regenerating salt and rinse aid, known on the market as "3 in 1" or "triple action" products. In this case the dishwasher will make the most effective use of the product, not using any salt or rinse aid which the appliance may contain. If the water hardness has been set on a value above H3, the DISPLAY (G) flashes, warning of a setting error, because these products are not suitable for use with very hard water. This does not prevent the use of the option, but the washing results might not be of the best.

8. 4 ULTRA CLEANSE RINSE (depending on model) Shown on DISPLAY (G): "Ultra cleanse 1/0". Press (D) to display the option and press (E) to enable (1 on display) or disable (0 on display) it. This function performs an extra hygenic rinse at the end of the washing cycle, assuring a further reduction in the number of bacteria present. If the temperature falls while the hygene rinse is in progress (e. g. due to a power blackout or because the door is opened), the DISPLAY (G) flashes until the dishwasher is switched off or a new programme is set, to warn that the option has not been carried out. TO SAVE ENERGY AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT · Try always to use the dishwasher with a full load. · Do not wash dishes in running water. · Use the most suitable washing programme for every type of load. · If available, connect the dishwasher to a hot water supply system at up to 60°C. · When possible, skip the drying stage and simply leave the door open after washing: the air and residual heat will dry the dishes perfectly. TO REDUCE DETERGENT CONSUMPTION AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT The phosphates in dishwasher detergent are a problem from the environmental point of view. The following rules will help you to use less detergent, and also less electricity: · Sort your dishes, washing delicate items separately from those more resistant to strong detergents and high temperatures; · Do not pour detergent straight onto the dishes.

9. Operating instructions
Once the dishwasher has been correctly installed, prepare for use as follows: · · · Adjust the water softening system; Add the regenerating salt; Add the rinse aid and detergent.
9. 1 Using the water softening system
The amount of scale contained in the water (water hardness index) can cause whitish staining on the dry dishes, which tend to become dull over time. [. . . ] If the problem persists, contact the after-sales service. The water is not heated or the heating parameters are not correct. Repeat the washing programme; if the problem persists, contact the after-sales service. Interrupt the programme and switch off the dishwasher. [. . . ]
