Gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the arrows until it comes free. Reposition as required. Do not move the glass shelf above the vegetable drawer and the bottle shelf to ensure correct air circulation. 22 Low Temperature compartment In models equipped with this feature in the fridge part, it is intended for a best conservation of fresh foods like fish, meat, seafood, etc. It is located in the lower part, directly above of the vegetable conservation drawer. Temperature indicator For proper storage of food the refrigerator is equipped with the temperature indicator. The symbol on the side wall of the appliance indicates the coldest area in the refrigerator. If OK is displayed (A), put fresh food into area indicated by symbol, if not (B), adjust the temperature controller to a colder setting and wait 12 hours before checking the temperature indicator again. A OK OK After putting fresh food into the appliance or after opening the door repeatedly or for a long period, it is normal for the indicator not to show OK; wait at least 12 hours before readjusting the temperature controller. It is possible to switch on the device manually when needed (refer to "FreeStore function"). The FreeStore device stops when the door is open and restarts immediately after the door closing. B HINTS AND TIPS Normal operating sounds The following sounds are normal during operation: • A faint gurgling and bubbling sound from coils sound when refrigerant is pumped. • A whirring and pulsating sound from the compressor when refrigerant is pumped. • A sudden cracking noise from inside appliance caused by thermic dilatation (a natural and not dangerous physical phenomenon). • A faint click noise from the temperature regulator when the compressor switches on or off. Hints for energy saving • Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary. 23 • If the ambient temperature is high and the Temperature Regulator is set to low temperature and the appliance is fully loaded, the compressor may run continuously, causing frost or ice on the evaporator. [. . . ] Make sure that food products do not touch the rear plate. Attach the melting water outlet to the evaporative tray. Water flows on the floor. The melting water outlet is not connected to the evaporative tray above the compressor. The FastFreeze or Shopping function is switched on. Temperature cannot be set. Switch off FastFreeze or Shopping manually, or wait until the function resets automatically to set the temperature. Refer to "FastFreeze or Shopping function". [. . . ]
