FUNCTION SELECTOR KNOB (on some models only) Turn the knob clockwise or counterclockwise to select one of the functions described below or to switch on the light inside the oven. GAS GRILL OVEN THERMOSTAT KNOB (on some models only) The oven thermostat knob is used to light the bottom burner or the top gas grill. To light the bottom burner, see paragraph "7. 4 Using the gas oven". The cooking temperature is selected by turning the knob counterclockwise to the desired setting, between MIN and MAX. To light the gas grill, see paragraph "7. 5 Using the gas grill (on some models only)". The rotisserie motor turns on automatically when the grill is on. GRILL FUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT (on some models only) The grill indicator light switches on every time the grill is activated using the oven thermostat.

CLOCK + TIMER (on some models only) To set the correct time, press or pull the knob A (depending on the model) and turn it clockwis To set it, turn the knob "A" in either direction until the hand is on the time required (max. Once the time set is over, a buzzer will sound. To stop it, move the hand back to the symbol by turning the knob "A".
When the buzzer sounds the oven is not automatically switched off.

7. If you need to access the food, always leave the door open for as short a time as possible to prevent the temperature in the oven from falling and ruining the food.
To prevent excessive amounts of condensation from forming on the internal glass, hot food should not be left inside the oven for too long after cooking.

7. 4 Using the gas oven
7. 4. 1 Electronic spark ignition Open the oven door fully, press the thermostat knob and turn it counterclockwise between MIN and MAX; the electric spark ignition is activated automatically. Accessible parts may be very hot during and after use of the grill; keep children well away from the appliance. During rotisserie cooking operations, one of the trays supplied with the cooker should be placed on the bottom of the oven, on the first bottom runner, to collect any grease and fat produced. When using the oven, remove all unused trays and racks from its interior. During cooking, do not cover the bottom of the oven with aluminium or tin foil and do not place pans or oven trays on it as this may damage the enamel coating. If you wish to use greaseproof paper, place it so that it will not interfere with the hot air circulation inside the oven.

7. 7 Cooking advice and instructions
7. 7. 1 General advice We recommend preheating the oven before putting the food in. For cooking on several levels, we recommend using a fan-assisted function (where present) to achieve uniform cooking at all heights. In general, it is not possible to shorten the cooking times by increasing the temperature (the food could be well-done on the outside and underdone on the inside). 7. 7. 2 Advice for cooking meat Cooking times, especially for meat, vary according to the thickness and quality of the food and to consumer taste. We recommend using a meat thermometer for meat when roasting it. Alternatively, simply press on the roast with a spoon: if it is hard, it is ready; if not, it needs another few minutes cooking. 7. 7. 3 Advice for cooking desserts and biscuits Use dark metal moulds for desserts: they help to absorb the heat better.
