[. . . ] During its operation, keep your hands, hair, clothes and any other kitchen utensil out of the range of the moving blade. â· The cup (only in model BA5615) can not be used in the microwave oven. IMPORTANT: When you want to dispose of the appliance, NEVER throw it in the rubbish bin. Take it to your nearest CLEAN POINT or the waste collection centre closest to your home for processing. You will thus be helping to take care of the environment. 1 Wash the appliance and base stand (figures B1 and B2) before using it for the first time. 2 Place the food in a container or the cup supplied (only for model BA5615), never exceeding 2/3 of the maximum capacity (top edge of the cup). 3 Hold the container, enter the base and press the button, as shown in figure C (lightly press the button for slow speed; press the button fully to select the maximum speed). During the preparation, move the blender in circles to facilitate the operation. â· We do not recommend preparing very hot food to avoid burning yourself. â· After preparing the food, first stop the blender and then remove it from the food, in order to avoid splashing the food on the blender. â· First, grind the most solid food and then add the softest food. [. . . ] Clean the base and cup with soapy water and rinse with plenty of water under the tap (see figure D). You can also clean these parts in the dishwasher. [. . . ]
