If you notice any malfunction in the scales, take them to an Authorised Technical Service shop for inspection and repair. â· Do not use the scales with wet feet or when the surface is wet, since you could slip. Before using your scales for the first time, remove the plastic cover. If you place the scales on a surface that is too soft, such as a rug, the folds may affect the precision of the weight shown. â· To start the scales, press lightly with your foot on the surface of the scales and then remove your foot from the scales. Remain still on the scales during 3 seconds until the value on the display blinks twice, which will show your stabilised weight. â· Two seconds later, the display will show your last 5 weights (for a continuous follow-up) and then the scales will turn off automatically. These scales turn off automatically after ten seconds without use. â· If you do not wait for a few seconds before standing on the scales an error will occur. If this happens, get off the scales, wait for them to turn off and start again at point three. â· If you weigh over the maximum limit (150 kg), the display shows the error message `Err'. â· To select the weight measurement unit desired (Kg. If after 10 seconds on the scales the value does not stabilise, the scales will turn off automatically. [. . . ] : When you want to dispose of the appliance, NEVER throw it in the rubbish bin.
