Make sure that the serial port for the HotSync® operation is not shared with the port for modem. · Speed: Determines the speed at which files/data are transferred. Try the rate, as [As Fast As Possible] first, and adjust downward if you have any problems. Note You cannot perform the HotSync operation via a serial port between your CLIÉ handheld and a computer. 4 5 6 Click [Modem], and select the setting for the modem as needed.
