[. . . ] Notes Keep the spacer in a safe place for when you need to store this unit. Do not install the camera while pressing this unit button. Keep the lens cover of the camera lowered. Closing this unit by force while the lens cover is closed may cause a malfunction. Always be sure to turn off the power when installing or removing the camera. Secure this unit body and press the cover until the lock latch catches. Notes Be sure to test shooting with this unit and check that the images are played back properly before recording or shooting. We recommend attaching the hand strap (supplied) before using this unit. You can easily wipe drops of water off of the front glass using the absorbent sheet attached to the hand strap.  (illustration ) Notes The float attached to the hand strap is for preventing loss of this unit underwater. Use the hand strap with the float attached. 1 Press the ON/OFF button of this unit to turn on the camera.  [. . . ] Be careful not to drop the camera when removing it.
