In the time data entry dialog box, use the following principles to enter a numeric value. Entry method · Using the L keys as a numeric keypad, enter a value. · New digits are always added at the least significant position, and the previous value is shifted up by one digit. Once the value has reached eight digits, further entry causes the most significant digit to be lost. · Press B2 (Backspace) to delete the lowest digit, and shift the other digits down (digits which were lost from the most significant digit position because more than eight digits were entered are not restored). · While the time data entry dialog box is displayed, pressing the RESET key clears all digits to zero. Adding or subtracting from the time data When you press the B3 (Direct Cue Up) key in material mode, the B2 (Manual TC Entry) in edit mode, or the B6 (Direct Cue Up) key in Dual Play mode, you can add to or subtract from the time data. · Press the B3 (-) or B4 (+) key accordingly when you want to subtract from or add to the displayed time data. For example, if you want to subtract one second from the time data, press the B3 (-) key and enter "100". Confirming the entered time data value · To confirm the entered time data value, press B7 (OK). If there are high-end digits not entered, they are filled with zeros at this point. To cancel the entry, and return to the state before you opened the dialog box, instead of B7, press B6 (Cancel). · If an invalid value is input for the time data, the value reverts to that which was previously displayed and the dialog remains open.
