Multisession function When a disc contains both normal CD type tracks and MP3/WMA type tracks mixedly, you can select which type of the recorded tracks to play. Each time you press and hold the [BAND] button for 1 second or longer, the mixed mode is switched between CD type and MP3/WMA type. Types of recording that can be played are as follows. Press and hold the [LOAD] button for 1 second or longer. Insert a CD into the CD SLOT one by one. Each time you turn the knob right, the track advances ahead to the beginning of the next track. Turn the [SEARCH] knob left to move back to the beginning of the current track. Turn the knob left twice to move to the beginning of the previous track. Listening to a disc already loaded in the unit Turn the [SOURCE] knob to select the CD/MP3 mode. When the unit enters the CD/MP3 mode, play starts automatically. Fast-rewind Turn the [SEARCH] knob left for 1 second or longer. For MP3/WMA discs, it takes some time until the start of searching and between tracks. In addition, the playing time may have a margin of error. All scan play This function allows you to locate and play the first 10 seconds of the first track of all discs or folders. Press and hold the [SCN] button for 1 second or longer to perform all scan play. All scan play starts from the next disc or folder after the disc or folder currently being played. 2. To cancel all scan play, press the [SCN] button again. Folder select This function allows you to select a folder containing MP3/WMA files and start playing from the first track in the folder. Turn the [A-MODE] knob left to move to the previous folder. Turn the [A-MODE] knob right to move to the next folder.
