Notes on CD-R discs
·You can play CD-Rs (recordable CDs) on this unit. However depending on the conditions of the recording equipment or the CD-R disc itself, some CD-Rs cannot be played on this unit. ·You cannot play a CD-R that is not finalized (Finalization is necessary for a recorded CD-R disc to be played on the audio CD player). Attaching the front panel
Attach part A of the front panel to part B of the unit as illustrated and push the left side into position until it clicks.
Reset button Notes · Pressing the reset button will erase the clock setting and some memorized program and memory functions. · When you connect the power supply cord to the unit or reset the unit, wait for about 10 seconds before you insert a disc. If you insert a disc within these 10 seconds, the unit will not be reset, and you will have to press the reset button again.

Detaching the front panel
You can detach the front panel of this unit to prevent the unit from being stolen.

Press (OFF). Press (MODE) repeatedly to select the band. press and hold either side of (SEEK/AMS) to tune in the station that you want to store on the number button. Press and hold the desired number button ((1) to (6)) until "MEM" appears. The number button indication appears in the display.
When tuning in stations while driving, use Best Tuning Memory to prevent accidents.
CD playback
Problem CD cannot be loaded. Cause/Solution ·Another CD is already loaded. ·The CD was forcibly inserted upside down. The ambient temperature exceeds 50°C (122°F). Press the reset button.
